A dynamic Metal Fabrication Job shop, with high business growth and career advancement offering the following position. To Lead QC daily checking and resolve quality issue on metal parts.
Quality Engineer
Roles & Responsibilities
· Perform routine QC Incoming/Out Going inspection for sheet metal, machining parts, including finishing. Ensure all items are checked before leaving factory.
· Document all results in accordance to Good Manufacturing Practices.
· Ability to use CMM for precision checking and report generating. (Minimum 1 year daily usage experiences is require)
· Implement correct checking equipment’s and method to QC.
· Decision making on Dimension dispute against Customer Drawing in
Production.
· Execute rejection goods and follow up status of rework. Ensure rework
parts are done accordance to requirements before accepting.
· Oversee Quality related activities involving Supplier’s qualifications.
· Ability to handle at least 4 QC daily checking routine schedule.
· Assist QA for internal & external audits.
· Tracking of non-conformances and follow up on CAR, 8D, Customer
Feedback and Return.
· Well vast in all sheet metal checking equipment. Eg- Profile Projector,
Height Gauge…
Requirements:
· Minimum 2 years of working experiences managing quality in sheet metal
manufacturing environment
· Strong Knowledge in GD&T and Tolerance of sheet metal.
· Konwledge in problem solving methodologies – 8D, CAR
· Highly responsible for Quality duties & task timeline.
· Good time management, Organization & Prioritization Skills.
