On behalf of our hiring client which is an Original Equipment Maker (OEM), we are looking for a suitable candidate to join them as a Test Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Plans and liaises with Authorised Examiners, Testing Teams, and Clients (and Transport Company for Full Load Test) on yearly testing of lifts and escalators.
- Review and improve efficiency of annual testing, with innovations and initiatives.
- Responsible for timely renewal of Permit To Operate (PTO).
- Provides advice on PTO renewal procedures to clients.
- Leads a group of technicians to perform the annual test.
- Plans and liaise with Audit Teams and Servicing Teams, on Safety and Housekeeping audit on lifts.
- Any other ad-hoc matters/issues assigned by Dept Head/Manager
Requirements
- Possess a diploma in the Engineering field
- Has prior experience in leading/supervising a team
