SSAL is looking for a Bartender
Join SSAL and the Sago Group, and work with people who are passionate about what they do!
SSAL is on a mission to inspire and ignite a profound appreciation for traditional Korean flavors and experiences. Their dedication shines through their bartending expertise, creating a bridge that connects people to the vibrant tapestry of Korean culture, fostering a sense of inspiration and cultural enrichment
The Role
A Sago Group Bartender is someone geared up and ready to learn all aspects of hospitality. We have a holistic training program that will start you off learning everything there is to learn about the venue itself, moving you quickly into back of house operations. Finally, once you’ve got your bearings we will start you off with bar training at both Sago House & Low Tide, ensuring you’re making drinks like a pro in no time.
You are our pillar of support when it comes to daily business operations. Hence, you’ll be spending three days of the week understanding alcohol basics and working closely with our Head Bartender. The other two days will be spent, getting prep work done whilst attending to the guests.
We are looking for candidates who ask “why” and “how” instead of working like a robot. We prefer to teach and work alongside those who have a sense of self and enjoy problem solving. We will give you permission to fail, we will give you a safe environment to learn in without fear of being berated or lectured. All we ask is that you apply yourself every day to the best of your abilities.
We are a dynamic group, so we're hoping you'll fit right in!
