Job Description and Responsibilities:
Responsible to assist cooks in providing excellent Food & Beverage service to the guests.
- Plan and purchase food and necessary supplies needed to provide food service, ensuring sufficient quantity of food and in a timely manner.
- Organise storage of food after its delivery or purchase.
- Keep an accurate inventory of supplies and order replacement of supplies as needed.
Food Preparation
- Assist the Head Chef
- Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment, prepare ingredients to use in cooking.
- Any ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work cohesively with cooks and other fellow team members as part of a team
Able to work on weekends and public holidays (6-day roster)
Able to communicate with Mandarin speaking customers when necessary
Others: Meals / uniform provided
