Unlocking ADHD is a charity and social service agency that aims to empower those with ADHD and their families to live life to the fullest. Through greater Awareness & Acceptance, Accessibility, Achievement, and Advocacy, we address the challenges that come with the disorder, which affects an estimated 5% of the population.


Role Description


We are seeking a full-time Fundraising and Partnerships Executive. You will support the important work of scaling up our services and developing and growing relationships with stakeholders and the community. You will work closely with the Executive Director and will also interact with Board members, staff and volunteers.

You will be responsible for a range of fundraising and partnership initiatives, including strengthening existing partnerships, exploring new funding opportunities, fostering relationships with donor communities and corporate sponsors, and planning and executing fundraising events.

  • Developing enduring relationships with donors and sponsors, and developing collaborations with community partners.
  • Reviewing, planning and executing innovative fundraising initiatives such as specific campaigns and special events to support fundraising efforts and meet fundraising targets
  • Strategising outreach to individuals, corporations and foundations to build and manage pipeline of existing and future donors and sponsors
  • Assisting with funding proposals, grant applications and reports for government, corporate and philanthropic entities
  • Conducting research, data mining and analysis for donor projects
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory fundraising requirements and Code of Governance, i.e. application of licenses and appeals where applicable
  • Managing Donor and sponsors through maintaining and updating records, proactively seeking out and building relationships with existing donors through consistent, sustained and valuable engagement to maintain donor loyalty and conversion
  • Preparing donor reports, appeals, and impact updates to internal and external stakeholders, and appreciation letters and events
  • Networking with corporations, community partners, donors, volunteers with the aim of building deeper engagement with Unlocking ADHD
  • Ensuring tracking of KPIs and timely submissions of reports to required program sponsors.
  • Working with the Marcomms team to develop marketing and publicity materials to support fundraising initiatives and to promote Unlocking ADHD’s causes
  • Performing secretariat duties to support Fundraising or related Committees.
  • Any other projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field. A background in Communications, Marketing, or Business Administration would be helpful
  • At least 3 years of related experience in nonprofit fundraising or project management
  • Proven track record of successful fundraising, grant writing, and corporate partnership development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong numeracy and budgeting skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, able to prioritize projects and meet deadlines
  • Experience with event planning, marketing, and volunteer management
  • Prior experience in managing databases to track impact and results: membership database, volunteer management database, donors database.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for supporting the ADHD community and advocacy efforts to raise awareness and reduce stigma
