A) Job Description:-
1. Comprehensively manage Production division with Methyl methacrylate (MMA) Department and Solution Styrene Butadiene Rubber (S-SBR) Department such as Manufacturing/ Plant maintenance & Engineering / Health-Safety-Environment (HSE) / Technical & Coordination / Quality Assurance / IIoT (Industrial IoT) development / Production Planning and Raw Materials Purchasing / Inventory and logistics / P/L and cost management for both budgeting and actual by fully working together with each General manager and Section manager,
2. Responsible for Safe and Stable plant operation under certified quality management system (QMS) for HSE and Quality as well as Industrial Control System (ICS) requirement,
3. Responsible for technology & planning related tasks such as carbon neutrality project, corporate level responsible care (RC) requirement as well as materialization of potential new projects.
4. Responsible for negotiations and communication with affiliated companies and other divisions, departments, external response as a representative of the division,
5. Appropriate sharing of managements’ strategies in the division and creation of new value and businesses by executing them,
6. Accountability of business situation/ condition to managements,
7. Formulation of personnel plans for each department, and coordination with affiliated companies,
8. Responsible for job assignments to internal members, including career development and performance management for general managers and section managers in light of both short-term and long-term development program.
9. Responsible to create and support a work environment that is rewarding and motivating for subordinates
10. Manage Business and Compliance risk and fulfill the management of developing program on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Responsible Care relating to plant operation,
B) Skills Required:-
1) At least 30 years of relevant technical and business experience in the Chemicals/ Polymers industry,
2) Advanced language skills in English and Japanese for regular reporting and communication with Japanese counterparts, customers and stakeholders,
3) Strong business acumen with strong communication skills, influencing, interpersonal understanding and leadership skills,
4)Sufficient ability in risk management, business management, and human resources management.
3) Education Details:-
Master’s degree in Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering or related science from a reputable university.
