Responsibilities:
- Supplier and Subcontractor Management: Source, evaluate, and negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers and subcontractors./Review and negotiate contract clauses to ensure favorable project outcomes.
- Quantity Measurement and Costing: Conduct quantity measurement, costing, and estimation for both pre-contract and post-contract phases./Price or forecast the cost of materials required for the project.
- Budget Management: Track changes to design/construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly./Perform cost-benefit analysis and evaluate progress payments and Variation Orders (VOs).
- Progress Claims and Account Finalization: Prepare and follow up on monthly progress claims in a timely manner./Resolve disputes with stakeholders and facilitate the finalization of project accounts.
- Ad-hoc Duties: Undertake other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superiors to support project needs.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Building, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent.
- Experience in leading tender teams.
- Proficient in Standard Forms of Contract (PSSCOC/SIA/REDAS)
- Proficient in Cubicost.
- Knowledge of contract law and SOP Act.
- Experience with projects worth from $70 million & above
