Duties & Responsibilities
- To assist the occupier of the worksite to identify any unsafe condition in the worksite or unsafe work practice which is carried out in the worksite
- To recommend to the occupier of the worksite to implement such reasonably practicable measures to remedy the unsafe condition or unsafe work practice
- To recommend and assist the occupier of the workplaces or other person in charge of the workplace implements the measure or RA and SWP/ MOS
- To investigate any incidents/accident and advise on the remedial measures to be taken to prevent any recurrence
- To work closely with the relevant authorities on safety and health matters
- To assist the management in EHS promotion to promote awareness among workers by organizing campaigns, daily toolbox meeting, internal safety training, external safety courses, competitions, and etc...
- Assist Safety Dept to implement EHS prevention and control measures
- Participate EHS Internal Audits as per ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements
- Implement reasonably practicable control measures in EHS are complied with local laws
- Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned to you from the superior/management.
Requirements
- Possessed WSQ Advanced Certificate in WSH (Level B);
- At least 2 years experience to carried out as a WSH Coordinator.
- Possessed knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health Act.
- Possessed office skills and computer literated.
- Possessed Class 3 driving license.
