Service Technician (Surveying Equipment)
Responsibilities
- Perform Maintenance, Repair and Calibration Service of the surveying equipment such as the Total Station, Scanner, Digital & Auto Level and the Accessories, that involves Electronics and Opto-Mechanical Movement.
- Provide service diagnostics (pre-inspection), recommendation and quote estimation.
- Perform repair service of equipment with complete adjustments, testing, outgoing inspection and cleaning.
- Ensure service performance (lead-time, reliability, utilization) are achieved.
- Support the Technical Service team on customer feedback and service-related issues.
- Maintain basic application knowledge of the Leica surveying equipment and back up the relevant Software data & configuration of customer equipment under service.
- Ensure safety and housekeeping of the workstations and workshop.
Requirements
- Min ITE or equivalent technical qualification in the field of Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering
- Technically inclined with hands-on skills on servicing box build assembly
- Experience in Manufacturing or servicing in the field of Optics, Electronics and mechanical movement
- Analytical ability and interest in learning new knowledge and technologies
- Proficiency in SAP, computer software are preferred
