Sales, Distribution and Business Development plays a vital role in understanding and meeting customer needs by offering the right solutions through the right channels to the right customer segments. The team is responsible for implementing distribution strategy, driving the delivery of market leading personal banking customer experiences and thereby maximising customer satisfaction.
We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Vice President, Investment Specialist.
Principal Responsibilities
- Acting as a technical expert in one or several product categories, as relevant to market, such as FX/DCP/Structured Products/ FX/Investment/Unit Trust etc
- Following the needs-based sales process, giving clients a meaningful and consistent wealth experience and ultimately providing an outstanding client experience
- Knowledge update on market movements and strategizing optimal buy/sell decisions for different clients based on market environment
- Reviewing portfolio with RMs, conducting preparation calls prior to the client meetings and strategizing investment portfolios to recommend
- Identifying and managing prospective clients with RMs to grow new client base in accordance with targets
- Attending joint appointments to assist RMs, provide clients with market movement updates and recommend strategies in accordance their individual profiles and needs, to increase wealth revenue while ensuring highest level of sales quality
- Providing coaching/guidance to RMs using insights generated from market updates and client appointments
- Preparing for product launches by confirming product parameters and requesting for pricing
- Reviewing daily achievements and identifying areas of improvement with Premier Team Head to grow client base, revenue and improve customer experience
- Managing appointment schedules to ensure all RMs are well supported, and meetings balance new client growth with managing existing client portfolio performance
- Resolving any outstanding operational issues to optimize daily performance
- Ensure daily sales activity management enables achieving the business objectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
- Evidence of strong past records in wealth solutions acquisition
- Relationship management experience with high net worth clients
- Strong technical skills in wealth management
- Strong communication client focuses and influencing skills
- Strong sales orientation networking and portfolio management skills
- Sound knowledge of financial services solutions and services and the client relationship management system
- Understanding of premier and HNW banking client segment and solutions and services
- Good communication and stake holder management skills
- A strong sense of ownership, responsibility and accountability with positive attitude
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory governance in market
- Proven ability to multi task in a fast paced work environment and prioritize work assignments
To be considered for this role, the relevant rights to work in Singapore is required.
The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting.
