Overview of the role
As a Bioquell Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, qualification, validation, service, repair and calibration of a wide range of innovative bio-decontamination equipment, utilised within life sciences, healthcare and pharmaceutical environments. You will also take part in the execution of our unique Bio-decontamination services operated in Singapore and in the Asia-Pacific region.

Responsibilities
- To carry out planned maintenance and breakdown calls on customer’s equipment, in accordance with company procedures.
- To carry out all contract servicing as arranged with the service manager ensuring that the work programme is carried out.
- Follow product service, repair and installation method statements.
- To carry out all installation in accordance with relevant Standards, following all safety guidelines and instructions issued and as agreed with the client.
- To conduct end user training on operating of the company’s equipment.
- Execution of Bioquell bio-decontamination services in pharmaceutical facilities, laboratories and hospitals.
- Record all information of work carried out electronically or on the appropriate Service Report, ensuring the customer or authorised representative approves the work completed as acceptance that work has been carried out to their satisfaction to GMP standards.
- To carry out work in Singapore or in the Asia-Pacific region as required.
- Act as a Bioquell representative with their customers.
Key skills required for the position
- Strong background in electro mechanical principals, with preferably experience with Siemens PLC, HMI and printed circuit board.
- Be able to demonstrate a very good understanding of electro mechanical systems and products as well as strong technical diagnostic skills.
- Good communication and organisational skills are essential as is the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
- A positive, flexible and results orientated approach.
- The candidate should be able to work autonomously and demonstrate good decision qualities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and in particular the ability to interact well in English.
- Experiences in pump or sensor calibration, pressure testing and HEPA filter testing would be an added advantage.
- Diploma / Degree holder in Engineering with minimum 2 years working experience in life sciences, healthcare or pharmaceutical industries.
- May occasionally be required to work on weekends to meet customer’s schedule.
- Frequent travel in the Asia-Pacific region is to be expected.
- Office Located at Gul Lane (Tuas).
- Company transport provided at Boon Lay, Jurong East, CCK, Outram Park and Bedok MRT.
