We are seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our team as a Remote Accountant and Tax Consultant. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing various financial services, including full-set accounting, tax consultation, and coordination with private banks, treasury, and payroll services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full Set Accounting:Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for various entities within the family office.
Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Tax Consultation:Stay abreast of tax laws and regulations in Singapore and relevant jurisdictions.
Provide tax planning and consultation services to optimize the family's financial position.
Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws.
- Liaison with Private Banks:Collaborate with private banks to manage and monitor investment portfolios.
Coordinate fund transfers, asset movements, and other financial transactions.
Maintain strong relationships with banking partners to ensure efficient financial management.
- Treasury Management:Oversee cash flow management, including forecasting and liquidity planning.
Implement strategies to optimize cash holdings and investment returns.
Work closely with the investment team to align treasury activities with overall financial goals.
- Payroll Coordination:Collaborate with payroll services to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee salaries.
Address payroll-related queries and discrepancies.
Stay informed about changes in payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA).
- Minimum of X years of experience in a similar role within a family office or financial services industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Singapore tax laws and regulations.
- Strong understanding of full-set accounting processes.
- Experience working with private banks, treasury functions, and payroll services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
