- Supervise vessel accountant teams to ensure timely submission of vessel reports to clients/stakeholders.
- Coordinate and collaborate to meet the accounting requirements of Vessel Owners.
- Manage and regularly review the Accounts Receivable of Vessels.
- Collaborate with vessel accountants to identify and recover various revenue streams from Ship Owners.
- Generate periodic financial reports for all accounts receivables and share them with senior management.
- Provide decision support to internal stakeholders by conducting financial analysis of vessels.
- Use historical financial data and future projections to inform internal stakeholders' decision making and align business decisions with financial implications.
- Investigate and address budget or forecast variances in cooperation with relevant internal stakeholders and report findings to the Senior Manager Finance and Accounting in Singapore.
- Mentor and develop the skills and capabilities of direct reports through implementation of development plans.
- Address competency gaps by conducting performance reviews of direct reports and working closely with HR.
