Job Description
- Handle daily accounting operations, overseeing month-end closing, coordinate audits manage annual reporting and etc.
- Prepare corporation tax filings, employer tax filings, and GST filings with support from Asia Tax Manager and external tax advisors when necessary
- Ensure compliance with Singaporean corporate laws and regulations
- Maintain client money accounts in adherence to the Solicitors' Accounts Rules
- Keep up to date with changes in Singaporean tax regulations, statutory reporting, and corporate compliance
- Manage bank reconciliations and prepare cashflow forecasts
- Supervise payroll functions
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and cost analysis
- Implement internal financial policies
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, company secretaries, and service providers. Liaise with internal stakeholders, including partners, responding to financial inquiries
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc financial analysis and reports
- Other ad-hoc tasks and projects assigned
The Successful Applicant
- Degree in Finance/Accountancy, or equivalent
- 5 years of general accounting experience
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills for effective communication
- Independent, numerally adept, with a strong positive working attitude
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills
