  • Modern and Highly Scalable Development: Drive the design, development, and maintenance of our frontend solutions using proven modern technologies.   • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the front-end engineering practice, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. Set clear goals, offer regular feedback, and promote the team's professional development.
  • Strategic Technical Leadership: Define the technical vision and strategy for frontend engineering, making informed decisions on frameworks, libraries, and technologies to use. Ensure alignment with business objectives, fostering a clear connection between technical initiatives and overarching goals of the organization, while considering potential overlaps and synergies with other engineering practices.
  • Quality Assurance Excellence: Drive best practices in code quality, testing, and automation to ensure flawless, responsive, and accessible user interfaces, crossbrowser, and mobile testing, as well as robust regression testing, and a relentless pursuit of ongoing quality improvement in our frontend development processes.
  • Effective Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with backend engineers, UI/UX designers, product managers, and stakeholders to align on project goals and deliverables, fostering a cohesive and innovative work environment.
  • Performance Optimization: We prioritize fast load times, scalability, content delivery enhancements, A/B testing, and user experience metrics to continually improve our frontend applications.
  • Security: Working with Security, rigorously implement best security practices, encompassing data encryption, robust authentication and authorization, vulnerability scanning, and compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for code, processes, and best practices to facilitate effective collaboration, streamline onboarding, and ensure project longevity and maintainability.
  • Successful delivery of high-quality, modern, and highly scalable frontend applications.
  • Leading and developing the Group and front-end engineering teams
  • Aligning front-end development with the organization’s objectives and technical vision.
  • Continuous improvement of front-end development processes and practices.
  • Ensuring the security and performance of front-end applications.
  • Fostering effective collaboration across teams, and between practices and stakeholders.
  • Developing and owning the technical strategy and vision for frontend engineering within the organization

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with 15+ years of relevant experience in front-end web development, and 5+ years in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven experience in modern front-end web development, with a focus on developing highly scalable and responsive applications.
  • Strong expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular).
  • Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Vuex) and frontend build tools (e.g., Webpack).
  • Deep understanding of responsive web design, performance optimization, and accessibility standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of leading and growing engineering teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with unit testing and end-to-end testing frameworks.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
