Job Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets
- Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their needs and offering tailored solutions
- Explore new market segments and potential partnerships to expand company’s client base and system solutions
- Collaborate with proposal team to create compelling proposals and presentations
Proposal and Contract Management
- Assist in the development of proposals. Working in conjunction with the proposal and/or engineering teams
- Present proposals to clients and address any queries or modifications
- Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements
Technical Expertise
- Maintain understanding of water treatment technologies, applications and industry trends
- Communicate technical details and benefits of proposed water treatment solutions to client effectively
Client Relationship Management
- Act as primary contact point for clients, addressing inquiries providing information and managing client expectations
- Continuously assess client satisfaction and seek opportunities or additional services
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree preferably in Environmental or Chemical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experiences
- Proven experience in sales, business development or proposal engineering within the water treatment or related industry
- Comprehensive knowledge of water treatment process, heat/energy recovery including but not limited to filtration, desalination, wastewater treatment, etc.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work on own initiative
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team
