The QA Officer is a key appointment in the department and takes the lead in the development, monitoring, and review of QA procedures. The QA Officer is also responsible for ensuring the administration and accurate and appropriate recording and storage of QA records and associated documentation. He / She will also provide administrative support to the department and the QA structures of HWA as required.
This is a position of responsibility that requires the ability to work autonomously and the confidence to provide sound direction and guidance to colleagues, both junior and senior, concerning quality assurance requirements and procedures.
Job Descriptions:
- Support quality assurance and enhancement activities throughout the School
- Play an active role in ensuring that quality assurance and enhancement issues are appropriately considered throughout the School
- Manage the production of relevant quality assurance literature, reports, and other documentation
- Prepare executive summaries of all relevant internal and external documentation and outputs, as required by management and other audiences
- Prepare reports and other forms of assurance for the Academic Board and the Governing Body
- Assist management and staff on developments within the fields of quality assurance and enhancement
- Any other relevant duties assigned by the School
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with 1-2 years of related work experience.
- Knowledge of Law or Quality Assurance will be an added advantage.
- Self-motivated, versatile, resourceful, and result-oriented.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in MS Office.
