Fitch Group is currently seeking a Regional Head of Fitch Community, APAC based out of our Singapore or Hong Kong office.

Reporting to the Head of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Social Responsibility based in London, this role will support the growth of our community program, build local and global non-profit partnerships that engage our people, increase our impact and effectively measure our progress.

Our team is comprised of nine members passionate about supporting our communities, diversity, equity, inclusion, wellbeing and the environment. We are collectively responsible for supporting our business to grow ethically and sustainably.

We’ll Count on You To:


Leadership, Programme and Strategy Development:

  • Drive overarching strategy, policies, procedures and programme development for Fitch Community at a Global and Regional level
  • Act as a thought leader and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders and external representative for Fitch as a responsible corporate citizen
  • Lead of our response to disasters and emergencies as well as guidelines and processes for managing longer-term non-profit partnerships

Employment Experience

  • Develop an interesting portfolio of opportunities for staff to volunteer in line with our core focus areas, ensuring due diligence process and checks are in place
  • Manage a network of Fitch Community Champions to ensure we are appropriately leveraging their expertise and commitment to growing our program locally and empowering local ownership within our offices worldwide.

Impact Evaluation, Reporting

  • Effectively measure, evaluate and provide data reports for our investment in the community and the impact it provides
  • Manage the Fitch Community budget and effectively develop KPIs
  • Ensure effective due diligence processes are in place to vet and onboard non-profit partners
  • Identify and report on key sustainability risk and opportunities and drive mitigation strategies where applicable
  • Content creation for reporting on internal/external channels and annual sustainability reports

Stakeholder management

  • Lead and manage our Global Steering Committee currently chaired by our Group CEO, using influence and direction to support programme growth
  • Work with the internal and external communications teams to execute effective strategies that raise awareness, build engagement and increase knowledge of Fitch Community
  • Maintain positive working relationships with the group businesses and functional departments as well as our parent company, Hearst.

What You Need to Have:

  • Extensive experience in corporate philanthropy and Corporate Social Responsibility or another related department
  • Proficiency with best practices in evaluation and impact tracking
  • High level of data literacy including data management and analysis
  • Demonstrable project management skills with the ability to effectively plan, organize, prioritise and manage multiple task in a high pace environment
  • Exceptional writing skills with proven track record in crafting persuasive proposals and communicate complex information effectively through well-structured reports
  • Existing network of contacts within the regional NGO community or relevant suppliers
  • Leadership and line management skills

What Would Make You Stand Out:

  • Experience and fluency with the Benevity platform and reporting
  • Experience working with or at a non-profit is preferred
  • Adaptable to different audiences and situations, able to influence at all levels
  • Ability to work collaboratively
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management abilities
  • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills
  • High level of critical and analytical thinking skills
  • Motivated and a self-starter, ability to think independently and creatively, plan and meet deadlines while managing multiple projects, and exercise sound judgment and diplomacy
  • Organized, detail-focused, and results-oriented
  • Demonstrated success turning impact data into meaningful stories for an organization and ability to identify and creatively solve problems proactively
  • Experience of external benchmarking sources (such as B4SI, GRI etc)
  • Experience in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
