VES (Veterinary Emergency & Speciality) Hospital is the first full service Veterinary Hospital offering Specialist Veterinary and Emergency Care 24/7 in Singapore. We invite registered Senior Veterinary Technician(s) to join us.
You will be working alongside and be supported by a multi-disciplinary team that includes specialists and referral clinicians in Diagnostic Imaging, Surgery, Anaesthesiology, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Neurology and Critical Care. Equipment in our renovated facilities includes digital radiography, ultrasound, echocardiography, C-arm, CT scan, MRI in house, rigid and flexible endoscopy, dedicated ICU and advanced monitoring and in-house laboratory.
Responsibilities
- Be the extra eyes, ears and hands for the veterinarian to ensure the best quality pet care and to maximize the veterinarian’s productivity.
- Lead communications with veterinarians and veterinary medical team to maintain the flow of pets.
- Provide professional, efficient and exceptional service at all times. This includes performing procedures that do not require veterinarian assistance, completing preparatory work for other procedures, ensuring that clients and pets are comfortable in the hospital, and monitoring hospitalized or surgical pets.
- Obtain relevant information and history from clients to maintain proper and complete medical charts.
- Ensure the safety of pets, clients and associates by utilizing safe restraining techniques, following standard protocols while maintaining clean, sterile and organized treatment areas, exams rooms and labs.
- Educate clients about preventive care, pet health needs, any diagnosis or treatment, hospital services and other related matters.
- Assist with surgery as applicable.
- Utilize technical skills within mandated regulations regarding duties of credential veterinary technicians.
Connect with us if you have the following credentials:
- Degree, Diploma or certification (American/ Australian) in veterinary technology/ nursing relevant studies.
- Registration with professional veterinary associations (American/ Australian/ British/ Canadian).
- Minimal 5 years of work experience in anesthesia/ cardiology/ internal medicine/ oncology /radiology/ ECC.
- 3 years prior team management experience.
- A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
