Responsibilities:
- Plan for production which include releasing of work orders and ensuring on-time delivery of shipments
- Work closely with purchasing and warehouse/logistics groups to ensure on-time receipt, delivery of materials and finished goods shipments
- Monitor and co-ordinate on material shortages, expediting and ensuring material availability to support production plan
- Planning and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
- Plan schedules to ensure production line is optimized
- Perform material planning based on manufacturing and production requirement and forecasts
- Make suggestions for improvement in areas of cost reduction, processes, quality and productivity
- Update and review the production and material status, ensure surplus materials and offcuts are utilized
- Support and coordinate with production for the prototype samples run slot in
Requirements:
- At least a Diploma in Manufacturing/Production/Supply Chain or equivalent
- Min. 2 years’ of production planning experience in manufacturing industry
