Roles and Responsibilities (Technician)
1. Internal rack wiring, installation of equipment, trunking, conduits etc
2. Field Installation of cables, equipment, trunking, conduits etc
3. Testing, commissioning, termination, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of cables, equipment etc
4. Record time and materials used on daily work assignment
5. Complete required paperwork including installation checklist, timesheets, service orders etc
6. Operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, test equipment etc
7. Work at height and small confined spaces when required
8. Able to work in customers' premises on job assignment when required
9. Able to work overtime and after office hours, weekends and public holidays when required
10. Able to perform Standby duty to attend to customers' sites during and after office hours, weekends and public holidays when required
11. Manage and handle incoming/ outgoing goods and inventory control
12. Create engineering drawings and designs for project
13. Must work well with little supervision individually and in a team environment
14. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
15. Understand and adhere to health & safety policies and ensure quality of workmanship is maintained at all times to the highest possible standards
16. Other duties assigned by manager
Education Level
1. ITC/NTC/Diploma in Electrical / Electronics Engineering
Experience/Technical Skills
1. Experience in telephone & data cabling work, understand CCTV and network diagram
2. Knowledgeable in various wiring configurations and termination
3. Proficient in MS Office applications
