- Work with users and IT members on a routine basis to troubleshoot reported problems pertaining to application software.
- Identify, log and resolve technical problems of the scope (Incident Management)
- Respond to site to troubleshoot, diagnose and rectify faults.
- Liaise and coordinate the recovery of systems.
- Identify potential changes and system improvements for consideration and implementation
- Create, maintain, and distribute reports of progress to service delivery manager.
- Gather, analyze and assess the client's business requirements and processes evaluate the viability and feasibility of implementing them (including operational and security policies and requirements) and also possible improvements.
- Conduct system functionality testing and work with users user acceptance testing to verify that client requirements are incorporated into the system design
- Support multiple application systems.
- Identify the cause, design, or develop an approach for resolution.
- Communicate and interface with vendors and customers.
- Generate reports and write documentation, e.g. maintenance guide, operation manuals
Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in Information Technology
- Min 3 years of experience with enterprise scale Linux and Windows administration
- Familiar with MySQL, Oracle, and other database servers
- Hands-On experience of .Net framework and Web Services
- Scripting: Windows PowerShell, Unix Scripting will be added advantage
- Able to work well within team and willing to learn
- Good grasp of emerging technology trends
- Start-up focussed with an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude
- Willing to be on standby after office hours for applications support.
