GENERAL LEDGER (GL) OPERATIONS
• Review GL master data creations and maintenance (includes GL a/c, Cost Centre, Fund, Projects)
• Ensure timeliness in monthly closing
• Manage outsource payroll recon vendor and review payroll journals
• GL module process lead for WorkDay Financial System
• Review of grant and tax allocations
• Review audit schedules for completeness and accuracy
• Timely GST submission to tax authority
• CorpPass Administrator
FINANCIAL REPORTING
• Plan, co-ordinate and liaise with auditors on all statutory financial audit matters to ensure that it is completed within stipulated timeline
• Prepare financial statements for statutory audit and analyse for reporting to stakeholders e.g Board, Audit and Risk Committee
• Ensure G accounts are in compliance with Financial Reporting Standards for Statutory Boards policies and procedures, relevant government IMs and circulars
• Liaise with subsidiaries on matters relating to statutory audit
• Co-ordinate returns on financial reporting required by Ministries and Department of Statistics
• Dividend computation and submission to MOF
• Monthly review of overall Financials and consolidate FCOT GL statistics for monthly dashboard reporting
• Provide advice on Financial Reporting Standard for Statutory Board to the business units
• Appointment of auditors
FINANCE POLICIES
• Develop, review and implement finance policies to ensure optimal balance between effective governance and efficient operations
• Provide advice to business units on the applications of finance policies
