Job responsibilities
- Based on the technical specifications of the products provided by the customers or by the internal teams, carry out the CAD drawings of all the products families (smartcards, antennas, IC substrates, medical, IOT):
- With 1 or 2 copper layers or with multi-layers of copper
- Under Autocad and Gerber environment
- According to the internal best practices for compatibility with internal process and cost optimization
- Carry out the drawing of the toolings for the local manufacturing of the new prototypes or for the local manufacturing of the first production lots of the new products
- Prepare the drawings for the punching tool and the artworks
- Interface with the toolings suppliers
- Inform the internal teams about the launching of the toolings (especially incoming inspection)
- Follow-up of the suppliers leadtime for the delivery of the toolings
- Update Technical information in Linxens data base
- Cross check design of other drafters
- Suggest adjustments designs taking into account the customer's specifications and internal rules of manufacturing
- Liaise with counterparts of Drafter team on other plant for cross sharing information and back up activity
- Understand plating software simulation tool to better design smartcard products / Understand RF software simulation tool to better design antennas
Job requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Knowledge of at least one CAD tool (Autocad mandatory, Gerber, Altium)
- Good knowledge in mechanical
- Basic knowledge in PCB (printed circuit board) or FPC (flexible printed circuit) manufacturing process
