- Create, refine, and implement new, better procurement strategies across all purchasing channels
- Assess and improve our local spend operations while investigating and anticipating changes in global spend
- Assign responsibilities and oversee the purchasing and procurement agents' work in all departments.
- Handle every facet of the supply chain and inform the senior management group of any potential roadblocks to optimal performance.
- Establish protocols and guidelines for gathering and disclosing critical data that will lower our overall costs while boosting output.
- Conduct a cost analysis and establish suitable benchmarks.
- Establish guidelines and protocols for managing and mitigating risks.
Requirements:
- Proficient in Excel and data analytics
- 5 years of experience in the purchasing/procurement field
