Assistant Project Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Project & Engineering team, handling various work tasks.
  • Create and maintain project schedule plans.
  • Monitor engineering and production activities, covering documents, technical manuals, certifications, and FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing).
  • Understand and stick to all work procedures and methods.
  • Provide regular feedback and updates on project status to the Head of Department (HOD).
  • Be open to learning new technical skills and guiding others in their development.
  • Ensure that engineering design and project management align with customer expectations.
  • Participate in standardizing product/system design, installation, and testing procedures, where applicable.
  • Establish a decision-making system within the project team at the appropriate level.
  • Use a defined project performance index to assess performance upon project completion.
  • Manage outstanding issues and report them to the HOD.
  • Prioritize safety by regularly reminding team members about safety protocols.
  • Promptly raise non-conformity reports when necessary.
  • Ensure timely resolution of non-conformances through investigation and corrective action.
  • Recommend and implement quality procedures and work instructions.
  • Monitor and control the project budget, introducing cost-saving measures where possible.
