Job Summary
Lead the development and transformation of new genetic and epigenetic product/services, provide customers with comprehensive solutions and extensive technical support, covering research and clinical applications. Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop, implement, and manage business strategies in both ASEAN and China markets.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage a team of experienced scientists in product or technical support, responsible for new product development and supporting sales in market expansion.
- Conduct market research in the field of biotechnology to identify product directions.
- Launch the new product after comparing the product performance from different suppliers.
- Thoroughly analyze customer needs and design corresponding comprehensive solutions.
- Assist sales in providing professional technical support to customers during both pre-sales and post-sales stages.
- Coordinate internal and external resources of the company to ensure smooth and high-quality project delivery.
Desired Skills & Competencies
- Master or PHD in life science field (Genetics, Molecular Biology and Biomedical engineering) is preferred
- Minimal 7 years of relevant experience of application support, technical support, R&D or related work in the life science industry.
- Familiar with the principles and usage of mainstream PCR and sequencing platforms, including both second-generation and third-generation technologies.
- Knowledgeable about different application areas for PCR, sequencing and mass spectrometry products, with a keen sense of market trends. This includes fields such as oncology, infectious diseases etc.
- Experienced in managing large-scale projects and skilled in designing overall solutions.
- Possesses experience in operations, technical support, and BD, with a preference for candidates who have experience in team building.
- Outstanding leadership and team collaboration abilities, capable of effectively breaking down objectives and coordinating different departments within the company, leading the team to effectively resolve issues and achieve the goals.
- Excellent learning capabilities. Candidates with international company work experience and experience in biomedical instruments or technologies are preferred.
