Duties to Be Performed:
The Senior Structural Engineer will work on Civil, Structural designs to support all life cycle of a projects from feasibility study to design and up to as-built of industrial buildings and structures. The Structural Engineer will work together with Architects to design, detailing of R.C.C & steel structures and Underground RCC structures of semiconductor fabrication plants, electronics plants, biopharma plants, and other industrial projects.
The Senior structural engineer will produce structural design, design options, design calculations, assessment of design options, scope of work, and specifications for industrial projects to meet the functional requirement. The structural engineer will work together with the BIM modellers and drafters to prepare designs, layouts, sections, elevations, schedules and details for submission of drawings.
The Senior structural engineer will attend the design and permitting meeting with clients, consultants and contractors, and will verify the design submittals from other consultants and contractors. He or she may visit to the site to support during construction, work closely with construction team, verify shop drawings and as-built drawings.
Requirements
The successful candidate shall have Post graduate degree in Structural Engineering. You should have 10 years of design experience in civil structural, preferably for industrial buildings, facilities, and cleanrooms.
You should be able to design the multi-disciplinary sub-structures and super structures. You should have working experience with BS 8007 & BS 8002. You shall have hands on experience using the analysis & design tools like STAAD Pro, SAFE, ETABS and having Geotechnical design & Civil design experience will be a definite added advantage.
You should be able to work independently, be well organized, able to work with minimum supervision and possess a positive team attitude and interpersonal effectiveness.
You should able to relocate and work in overseas, including Malaysia.
