Main responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor the regional accounts operations team into a high performing, efficient, accurate, and innovative team
  • Responsible for cash flow and liquidity management, as well as GST submissions
  • Responsible for the timely preparation of periodic financial reports, and ensuring that the reported results are compliant with accounting standards
  • Analyse financial data and provide insights to inform business decisions and improve cost-efficiency
  • Assist in designing and implementing internal controls and SOPs across HQ and subsidiaries, and responsible for monitoring the execution of the SOPs
  • Leverage technology and work closely with functional teams to constantly improve productivity and quality of accounts operations and process flows
  • Being a proactive partner to internal departments and external business partners
  • Coordinate with the head of tax, legal and technology teams in relation to ad-hoc projects 
  • Other ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time

  • Degree in accountancy or equivalent professional qualification (CPA, ACCA) 
  • 4 years of relevant experience
  • Good understanding of International and Local Accounting Standards and tax regulations
  • Sound understanding of internal controls and risk management
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Proficient in verbal and written Chinese is a plus
  • Experience with SAP B1 or a regional accounting / shared service centre is a plus
