Key Duties and Responsibilites:
Big Picture
- Oversee the development and implementation of marketing strategies, and with guiding the team that executes them
- Work with business teams, including sales and business development to develop successful strategies and campaigns that attract new customers and keep current clients
- Collaborate with senior management team to make high-level decisions regarding marketing budget and the direction of the company
Leadership and Teamwork
- Work closely with business teams especially Sales and Business Development in the Singapore office as well as Group’s Marketing team in HQ Paris
- Provide key support to company’s digital transformation strategy
- Supervise a marketing team, including hiring, training, workloads, schedules and deadlines
- Establish and drive continual process improvements and implement best practices to manage projects efficiently
Data
- Identify trends and insights and optimize spend and revenue performance based on the insights
- Evaluating campaign research, market conditions and competitive data to maintain competitive edge and to devise strategies to meet company’s target objectives
- Set up dashboards and develop models for data presentation to head of departments and suggest recommendations for business performance improvement
- Work closely with in-house teams at Data Corp in Paris HQ as well as external vendors on data platforms and solutions to educate and drive a data-led media strategy to advertisers and their agencies
Communications
- Develop brand strategy, including setting, refining and communicating of value proposition
- Develop and execute all public relations communications for internal and external stakeholders and media actions on all channels, including offline, online and social media
- Oversee the operation of a company’s website or email marketing program and provide analytics reviews
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with trade reporters, editors and external vendors
Experience, Qualifications and Requirements: -
- A good Bachelor’s degree in communications,journalism, marketing or business related field
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in marketing communications, preferably in the advertising and media industry
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing a marketing communications team and in ecommerce, SEO, Email and social media marketing
- Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice
- A data-driven mindset with good experience working with complex data environments and analytics platforms
- Experienced and successful in building, coaching, and motivating high performing team
- Creative and critical thinking skills
- Confident, enthusiastic and a talent in story telling
- Excellent communicator with ability to present, influence and persuade across all levels of the organization
- Pleasant disposition with excellent interpersonal skills
