Responsibilities
- Allocation of work and deployment of Staff
- Verification of timely and proper opening and closing of job cards
- Enforcing quality through Supervision of work and stage inspections.
- Ensuringthe availability of tools and materials
- Prepare job schedule for the workshop.
- Ensure punctuality in attendance, discipline, and also presence of workers at the work spot during duty hours.
- Ensure supply of safety kits to workers and ensure adherence to safety regulations and safe work practices.
- Ensure timely completion of work as perthe target set by the project management.
- Ensure proper upkeep and safety of Railway’s assets - both immovable and movable.
- Ensure cleanliness of work premises and ensure good housekeeping by eliminating trash, filth, and foreign matters creating a cleaner workplace. Inculcate cleaning as a form of inspection and establish clean-up time every day.
- Ensure correct handling of material so that damage does not occur due to mishandling.
- Managing workshop progress schedule/planning
- Able to command/control workshop Manpower arrangement
- Knowledge of fabrication for both thermoplastic and steel fabrication
- Product QA/QC check for both thermoplastic and steel fabrication
Requirements
- • Candidate must possess at least a secondary/Higher secondary /or any other SQ qualification on a related field.
- At least 5 year(s) of workshop supervisor experience.
