Project Manager (Experienced in HIP Projects)

Heptacon Construction Pte. Ltd.

Core responsibilities:


Project Management

· To attend Work Committee, Branch Office, Town Council Meetings

· To attend Meet the People Sessions (Site Walkabouts)

· To monitor overall construction progression, operation costs, safety performance and to resolve matters / issues related to project

· Carry out initiatives to the Company’s directors

· Assists Construction Director and Contracts Dept in preparation for tender submission


Project Budget Control

· Plan and monitor preliminary cost budget to ensure project cost within approved budget

· To map out Projected S-Curve for project financial cash flow

· To implement control measures on material / plant & equipment / utilities usage


Technical Understanding

· Understanding of drawings, specification requirements and contract scope of works

· Ability to resolve project related technical issue & provide engineering & alternative solutions


PROFESSIONAL SKILLS


Leadership

· To delegate team to achieve excellence in the project

· To command & manage changes

· Strong negotiation skill


Teamwork

· To motivate the team including sub-contractors to work cohesively to achieve project targets

· Solicits supports and input from team members at all levels within the organization

· Client Management

· Build up good rapport with client/consultants

· Communicates effectively with consultants to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions (Quality).


OTHERS RESPONSIBILITIES (ORGANIZATION)


People Development

· Participates in all programs and enforces all policies relating to performance evaluations and career development planning.

· Reviews management evaluations for consistency.

· Impresses upon management the importance of the performance evaluation programs.

· Manages the development of subordinates.

· Assigns tasks to practice management that give subordinates an opportunity to grow.
