This position is to support the crewing department in managing the administrative tasks concerning the company's shore staff.
Responsibilities:
- Keep and update crew members' personal records.
- Maintain crew training records and arrange training sessions for the crew as required.
- Assist the crewing department in handling administrative matters related to the company's sea staff.
- Check and process crewing-related documents, invoices and accounting matters in connection with allotments
- Coordinate crew changes and handle logistics efficiently.
- Provide reports and support to the Crewing Manager regarding the fleet of vessels.
- Arrange and validate seafarers' licenses, permits, certificates, and other necessary documentation.
- Handling seafarer grievances and disciplinary matters
Requirements:
- GCE O level or marine related certificates.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is mandatory.
- The ideal candidate should be detail-orientated, meticulous, proactive, and maintain a positive attitude, with a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working marine related industry is an added advantage
