Job Descriptions
1. Lead the scientific team for R&D and innovation developments. Supervising and managing all activities performed by the research teams assigned to them
2. Be physically involved in research projects and conduct experiments in the lab
3. Ensuring the proper implementation and development of new research technologies. Establish/optimize assays, train junior team members, and coaching scientific associates
4. Develop and execute short and long term projects based on Company’s mission
5. Build and motivate team to contribute to innovation and IP creation
6. Analyzing all project-related tasks performed by their team, evaluating their significance, assessing the final results and presenting the relevant conclusions to the board of management and scientific advisory
7. Participate in strategic planning activities, identifying new research/grant opportunities and assessing commercial application of research
8. Communicate and oversee external research partners
Requirements:
1. PhD in biological sciences, biochemistry, biotechnology, medicine or any relevant field is required
2. Minimum 3 year experience after PhD is highly desirable
3. Industrial experience is highly desirable
4. Demonstrated experience in mammalian cell culture with cell lines and primary cells
5. Demonstrated experience in skin biology and/or aging is highly desirable.
6. Demonstrated experience in molecular biology techniques related to RNA, DNA, Protein
7. Demonstrated experience in biochemical and cell-based assays
8. Demonstrated ability to undertake high quality academic research and conduct independent research with limited supervision
9. Demonstrated experience in leading a team of scientist or supervising people
10. Demonstrated ability to collaborate across disciplines and build effective relationships
11. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to analyze and present data to stakeholders
12. Demonstrated experience in establishing new connections/collaborations
13. Demonstrated experience in filing Patent is desirable
14. Exceptional skills in ideation, strong research, analytical, and problem-solving
15. Demonstrated skills in being meticulous and organized
