Responsibilities:

  • Ensure optimal performance of critical systems, particularly the Front Office Property Management System and Food & Beverage Point of Sales computer systems.
  • Establish and maintain user procedures and hardware familiarization for all systems.
  • Provide administration services, to include contribution to technology capital and operating budgets.
  • Conduct Systems Administration tasks, such as maintaining user/group accounts, configuring users, troubleshooting access issues, and completing on-site documentation.
  • Assist in managing server infrastructure, including performance monitoring, Operating System upgrades, and addressing troubleshooting issues.
  • Identify opportunities and initiate improvement and updating of hardware, software and systems.
  • Perform regular reviews and health checks on IT systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage vendors and suppliers to ensure deliverables, cost effectiveness and timeliness of services/ products.
  • Respond to systems breakdowns, both mechanical and electrical, prioritizing high levels of service and response times.
  • Must be available to attend for any project implementation, assist for successful Completion of projects and maintenance issues.
  • Assist in project related activities that includes deployment, installation, and testing.
  • Maintain detailed records of breakdowns and repairs for analysis and compliance with ISO standards.
  • Answer all service request phone calls during scheduled standby duties.
  • Supervise vendors and IT contracts to ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
  • Take ownership of all project phases, including planning, monitoring, reporting, and specification.
  • Manage and maintain an inventory register for IT assets.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma/ bachelor’s in computer science, Engineering, or related.
  • 3-5 years of well-rounded IT experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Able to work well under pressure and handle emergency and stressful situations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and strategic thinking abilities with a problem-solving aptitude.
