EVe Charging Pte Ltd is Singapore’s leading EV charging solutions provider, a wholly owned subsidiary of LTA tasked with managing EV charging point (EVCP) deployment for HDB carparks and undertaking supporting electrical infrastructure upgrades. With the opportunity to deal with cross-cutting issues from both whole-of-government and private sector stakeholders, the incumbent will be assured of a rich experience involving in installation of EVCPs work, which is envisaged to support the effort to reduce land transport emission in Singapore.
The Business Development Manager will be in the team responsible to boost the business coverage, connection, and volumes. It will oversee the strategic direction and growth of EVe’s overall strategic planning, marketing, new business development, and new innovative solutions to grow revenue and reduce cost. To do this, they will tap on the data and data tools to ensure that scaling of EVCPs and infrastructure upgrade is done in timely, effective, and efficient manner to meet the public demand.
Overall, the scope of the Business Development Manager will entail the following:
A) Business Development
· Identify and research on potential clients for EV charger deployment.
· Develop and finetune business strategies and proposals, business models, partnership, and pricing strategies.
· Arrange business meetings with prospective clients, and support negotiation and business pitches and proposals.
· Design and implement tendering approach and processes for different business models to meet the needs of prospective clients.
· Prepare and review tender documents, contracts and agreements to support business partnership.
B) Horizon Scanning & Partner Engagement
· Conduct research on strategic market and landscape trends of EV charging related matters.
· Manage relationships with business stakeholders.
· Engage and partner strategic stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in any field
· At least 5 years of experience in business development
· Possess strong analytical, strategic, and financial acumen.
· Possess sound business judgment and critical thinking skills to be able quickly assess situations and opportunities.
· Pro-active self-starter that brings a fresh perspective to problem solving with a can-do attitude.
· Excellent written, communication and presentation skills
· Ability to meet deadlines effectively.
· Candidate with in-depth understanding of EV Charger operating models, revenue model as well as contracting methods will be plus.
