Our client is a Global MNC, one of the leading players in the Pharmaceuticals sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Calibration Engineer (Production) to be part of their team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West – easily accessible.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to the company site’s standards/protocols regarding instrument calibration
- Supervise the usage/upkeep of the various precision measuring devices/instruments
- Facilitate the planning of calibration activities, both onsite and offsite, in collaboration with external stakeholders
- Follow established guidelines for handling instances where instruments fall outside tolerance limits
- Evaluate and finalize completed calibration work orders in the company’s system
- Revise and enhance protocols/guidelines to be align with the various calibration standards/policies
- Liaise with various stakeholders to verify that their calibration processes conform to the required policies
- Handle and conclude procurement requests related to calibration activities
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure punctual calibration completion and instrument returns
- Handle and conclude reports for incidents of calibration discrepancies
- Review and approve new instrument registration forms in partnership with the relevant representatives
- Conduct training sessions on calibration procedures to the various stakeholders
- Ensure that calibration activities remain within the company’s budget allocation
- Formulate/Implement innovative ideas as part of the company’s ongoing improvement efforts
- All other adhoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or other relevant field of studies
- Minimum 3 years of relevant calibration experience in plants
