The TA Franchise Head for Specialty Care (Interstitial Lung Disease/Respiratory, Oncology/Immunology, Mental & Retinal Health) will be responsible for the successful translation of global to local strategy, preparation of pipeline assets' launch across region and driving commercialization of the Franchise portfolio by developing overarching integrated cross-functional strategies and ensuring excellent execution.


Has oversight of the whole TA Franchise Team in ROPU Centre, directly lead the commercial team (i.e. marketing) and provide strategic leadership to the cross-functional franchise team (e.g. MAHA, GTM, Medical Affairs). Together with functional leadership, design the overall Franchise Strategy across TAs under the franchise at regional level, to guarantee that the different TAs and brands have the right strategy, overall planning, and adequate resources to set and achieve ambitious results. Ensure overall launch preparation for new assets.


Guide OPU TA Franchise Head of Specialty Care (SpC) in the implementation of ROPU Strategies in respective TAs. Drive the Specialty Care Marketing and Sales/FF organization across ASKAN, to develop the Integrated Customer Plans (ICPs) built on solid customer and patient insights, meaningful to ASKAN region. Drive the local / OPU commercial organization to deliver results according to established internal/external targets and KPIs. Provide regional guidance to OPUs on Go-To-Market strategy and respective customer engagement models for for SpC TAs and assets, in alignment with the ROPU Centre GTM and OPUs.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Overall P&L responsibility for the TAs and brands/assets under the franchise, from gross sales to CCMIII A; ensure achievement of sales, growth, market share and profit/ profitability objectives of Franchise, respective Therapeutic Areas and portfolio
  • Develops Franchise Strategy, Brand strategies and ICPs in line with Integrated Brand Plan (IBP) process in cooperation with Global teams and ASKAN Countries
  • Develop Integrated Customer Plans (ICPs) based on IBPs and bottom-up needs from OPUs in the region; ensure successful implementation of ICPs
  • Select high-performing talents and develop expertise, know-how and competency of the team
  • Champion and drive patient centricity and transformation (including digital) in all aspects of the business

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in relevant areas, like Marketing, Business Administration, Pharmacy, Medicine, Psychology or its equivalent; Master’s Degree is a plus
  • Expert leaders with a minimum of 10 years of business and marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with proven track record of success in complex, competitive markets
  • Minimum of 6 years leadership experience leading people & leading projects
  • Ideally with relevant experience in handling specialty care or rare disease product portfolio, including new product launches
  • Deep knowledge in identifying and building foundational insights, patient journey, new patient and customer engagement initiatives for improved patient care
  • Strong background in developing multi-stakeholder strategy, integrated brand plans, new product planning and launch
  • Ability to engage with Senior Management and Corporate stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen; strong analytical, problem solving, project management, communication and people management skills
  • International work experience a plus
  • Role model of AAI (Accountibility Agility Intrapreneurship) Behavior
  • Proficient in the English Language
