You will be part of a team involved in the renewals of the existing LRT systems, including the managing of contractors involved in designing, modifying, supplying, installing, testing, and commissioning of the LRT systems. You will review contractors’ submission and provide insights and comments for improvements to these submissions. You will be participating in the installation, testing, and commissioning of the LRT systems thereby ensuring functionality of the systems are delivered. Some of these activities may be executed during engineering hours at night.
You will also be collaborating with various parties such as contractors, designers, architects, stakeholders, and the appointed Railway Operator to ensure effective project integration and address any operations or maintenance matters. You will also assist in reviewing system related submissions, providing insights and comments for improvements to the design, installation, testing, maintenance, and operations of the LRT systems.
• Tertiary qualification in Electrical / Electronics / Computer / Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Possess good communication skills to effectively interact with different stakeholders and convey technical information clearly
• Ability to demonstrate self-motivation, collaborative teamwork, and a result-driven approach in executing assigned responsibilities
• Openness to innovation and willingness to explore new ideas or approaches
• Able to perform occasional night works including weekends and public holidays
