• A degree from a recognized institution with a major in biology or relevant fields
• Familiar with molecular diagnostic techniques

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Maintain the integrity, confidentiality, and security of patient information within the LIMS.
• Familiarize oneself with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and become well-versed in its functionalities.
• Adhere to all quality control procedures in support of clinical diagnostic activities.
• Responsible to perform their assigned tasks with high accuracy and efficiency.
• To assist section’s supervisors to collect, analyse data and inform them on any issues or possible sources of errors within the laboratory.
• Perform equipment PQ
• Execute validation in accordance with the approved plans
• Recognize and resolve technical, instrumental, and procedural problems that may affect test performance or result accuracy.
• Perform and track operational workflow on designated tracking sheets and Laboratory Information System.
• Learn and implement new QC techniques or technology transfer form R&D team from time to time
• Ensure the reception of laboratory specimens and rejection of specimens that are unsuitable for analysis are in order.
• Perform test procedures and proficiency testing in accordance to approved plans and/or external programmes
• Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for new or modified laboratory tests.
• Assist in monitoring and evaluating quality control data, troubleshoot deviations, and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in proficiency testing programs and ensure accurate and precise test performance.
• To identify areas for improvement within the laboratory.
• Any other duties assigned by the CEO/COO from time to time.
