Job Description:
• Enforce and review standard operating procedure.
• Oversees and manages day to day operations ensuring smooth operation and maintaining quality standard of services including cleanliness and maintenance.
• Consults with regional buyers and/or vendors to obtain product or service information such as price availability, and delivery schedule.
• Monitor and the dry goods expiry dates and ageing inventory and prompt relevant departments (marketing and retail) to perform stock clearance accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with the company operations standard and meet all the safety requirements.
• Oversees merchandising of all dry/fresh goods in both retail and wholesale.
• Ensure the operation is running well efficiently that fulfil the expectations and needs of customers and clients.
• Supervise the proper routing, loading and preparing of orders for shipment and delivery in accordance with customer instructions.
• Overseeing salespeople, cashiers, shelf stockers, and other employees.
• Keeping records of expenditure, sales figures, and employee performance.
• Evaluating the supply and availability of stocks, and profit-margins.
• Implementing measures to avoid stock damages, theft, and wastage.
• Monitoring shelve stocks and product displays, and the general appearance of the store.
• Investigating market trends and offering products that would appeal to customers.
• Addressing customers' requests, comments, and complaints.
• Motivating employees to achieve targets.
• Training new staff members and scheduling shifts.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B sales, B2C Sales, wholesale brand consumer products with a preference for the industry.
• Preferably with experience in wholesale/retail packaging (household & groceries).
• Good knowledge in Indian Wholesale household and groceries products distributions through various wholesale and retail channels.
• Willing to do rotating shift work and able to work longer hours with prolonged. period of standing. Must work on weekends/PH. (Strictly off on week days).
• Field work required. Need to do delivery if driver is off / medical leave or urgency of goods when required.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrable experience in a supervisory capacity at a retail store, or similar.
• In-depth knowledge of product and consumer trends, and marketing strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to do multi task.
