Responsibilities include:
Reviewing contracts to ensure that they are enforceable, reasonable, and clearly stated
Negotiating with suppliers in other countries to ensure that terms are fair for all parties involved
Preparing reports about market conditions in different countries for use by executives in business development or marketing departments
Coordinating freight shipments from warehouses or factories to customers across international borders
Interpreting laws and regulations regarding international trade activities such as tariffs, quotas, and customs duties
Researching foreign markets to identify opportunities for increased sales in those markets
Identifying new markets and customers in foreign countries to increase sales
Establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and business partners in foreign countries
