IT Operation & Maintenance Executive

Responsibilities:

  • IT infrastructure (Hardware and software), POS system installation and maintenance including remote troubleshooting.
  • Liaising with third part vendors for new store infrastructure setup
  • Updating the store systems if it is needed.
  • Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support and standby for the store operation.
  • Conduct training new Supervisors in how to use all systems and how to handle minor technical issues.
  • Prepare system manual guidebooks of all software systems and editing for any updates.
  • Participate in UAT testing before GO-LIVE and release the new version.
  • Update windows and security patches of store POS and laptop and ensure cybersecurity.
  • Maintain store IT inventory list and update documentation on IT asset management.
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned by Manager.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
  • At least 2 years’ working experience in the related field - preferably with retail sector.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft windows operating systems
  • On-site support and resolution of all software and equipment issues
  • Proven analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • Microsoft MCSE or Cisco CCNA certified but not compulsory.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft SQL server and scripts
