Responsibilities:
- IT infrastructure (Hardware and software), POS system installation and maintenance including remote troubleshooting.
- Liaising with third part vendors for new store infrastructure setup
- Updating the store systems if it is needed.
- Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support and standby for the store operation.
- Conduct training new Supervisors in how to use all systems and how to handle minor technical issues.
- Prepare system manual guidebooks of all software systems and editing for any updates.
- Participate in UAT testing before GO-LIVE and release the new version.
- Update windows and security patches of store POS and laptop and ensure cybersecurity.
- Maintain store IT inventory list and update documentation on IT asset management.
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned by Manager.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
- At least 2 years’ working experience in the related field - preferably with retail sector.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft windows operating systems
- On-site support and resolution of all software and equipment issues
- Proven analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Microsoft MCSE or Cisco CCNA certified but not compulsory.
- Good understanding of Microsoft SQL server and scripts
