Facilities Executive – Technical (12 month contract)

We are looking for a Facilities Executive – Technical (12 month contract) to join our Singapore office. This role will support regional facilities management and maintenance duties, who will report to Regional Facilities Manager (India) and closely work with CRE team.


What are the ongoing responsibilities of this position?

  • Assist Regional Facilities Manager (India) in the daily operations of Singapore office spread across 4 floors.
  • Dedicated resource on site working for FT CRE team.
  • Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards.
  • Inspect office structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations.
  • Coordinate between vendors for facility issues and monitor PM activities over weekend as when required.
  • Liaise with employees for facility issues and act for correction and feedback.
  • Manage pantry supplies, electrical consumables, and furniture inventory.
  • Manage the service vendor teams, sub-contractors, supervise & coordinate facility management activities and ensure all works adhere to legal regulations.
  • Attend any cases raised including after hours by the Client which includes the tenants where applicable.
  • Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs.
  • Facility invoice review and submit for approval and processing.
  • Preparation of monthly management report and incident reports pertaining to the site.
  • Ensure smooth operations on site(s) by continuous monitoring.
  • Manage ad-hoc project(s) in conjunction with regional CRE team.
  • Facilitate incident investigation whenever necessary.
  • To be rostered on 24-hr mobile standby team after office hour.
  • Travel to Malaysia & Hong Kong’s office based on urgency.
  • Urgency based travel to Malaysia & Hong Kong office.


What qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?

  • Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering, Building/ Facilities/ Real Estate Management or equivalent or a bachelor’s degree in project and Facilities Management can be an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Good verbal and written communications skills.
  • Sound computer knowledge, like Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and MS project.
  • A certified Fire Safety Manager would be advantageous.
