SAP HR Payroll Developer

Your Role and Responsibilities :
As a SAP Payroll consultant in IBM, Your role will be:
- To provide SAP Payroll HR application maintenance support to IBM installed bases.
- To support the complex solution to ensure that all the employees (>40K employees) are paid on time
- To liaise with IBM installed bases HR regarding payroll related incidents; analyse the issues and provide timely fixes.
- To understand the installed bases new requirements, conduct impact analysis, develop solutions, and justify effort estimate
- To present solutions and answer client's queries on the various possible unique scenario for example system effect on changing of UEN, cross company charging, retro claims, benefits claims, part time - full time conversion, additional wages/over time computation
- To design and implement the accepted solution, conduct system integration test, support UAT, perform data migration, validate the migrated data, perform cutover to prepare for go live
- To support all new statutory requirements or company policy changes which will impact HR/ Payroll
About you:
- You are someone we are looking for if you have the following expertise:
- Implementation/support experience with Payroll module (at least 3 projects).
- Proficient in gathering & assessing requirements from business owners.
- Experience in design and build the Sofrware solution that meet the client requirements. Functional work like configuration, testing, training, Data migration are expected from the consultant in the implementation project.
- Building effective working relationships with the business; understanding their issues, concerns, and priorities.
- Take the lead role in assisting with the business case, planning and monitoring,
- Translating and simplifying requirements. Identifying areas that may require systems solutions.
- Leading and/or participating in the business process analysis, testing, system cutover, documentation, and training of system functionality.
- Analysing change in light of current business processes, assessing impact on other SAP modules.
- Partnering with other functional and technical teams to ensure quality delivery.
- Following standards and best practices in the delivery of solutions.
Desired Background
- Bachelor/Master's in Human Resources, business, Computer Science or related field.
- At least 3 years of working in SAP payroll projects
- Possess excellent verbal, written and presentation skills;
- Self-driven, detail-orientation
- Ability to work collaboratively and productively with globally dispersed teams
- Ability to manage ambiguity, yet producing tangible results
- Ability to effectively manage challenging situations without loss of focus when under pressure
- Will be an added advantage if you have SuccessFactors Certifications.
