Marketing Communications Director
The Marketing Communications Director is a fast-paced role, right for an entrepreneurial and ambitious individual eager to roll up his or her sleeves to own the end-to-end development and execution of company brand and marketing communications strategy.
Key Responsibilities • Brand Strategy, Positioning, Messaging:
Collaborate with key stakeholders to articulate and drive branding, positioning and messaging strategy, and develop the visual and verbal brand identity and brand book.
Marketing Communications Strategy, Planning & Execution:
develop, execute and manage the brand and marketing communications strategy, plan, and budget, for all aspects of the marketing mix and across all channels (online/offline) including website, social media, content development, product marketing, internal and external communications, corporate communications, public relations, events, awards and sponsorships.
Employer Branding & Talent Acquisition:
Collaborate with the HR team and key stakeholders to advance employer brand and support talent acquisition efforts.
Employees Communication & Engagement: establish and implement internal communication initiatives and events to support communication and engagement across the entire company.
Brand Protection & Compliance: responsible website domains acquisition, trade marks registration and watch, as well as communication guidelines and brand governance processes to ensure strategic consistency and brand compliance across all touch-points.
Performance: monitor, assess, optimize and report performance of all activities and projects.
Marketing Team & Operations Management: manage the marketing team, systems, and processes to enable the team to perform optimally and to scale our operations effectively as the company grows.
Agency Selection & Relationships Management: craft requests for proposals, participate in agencies review and selection, negotiate with and manage the relationships with partner agencies and external vendors.
Corporate Development: participate in corporate development and strategic projects as and when needed.
Requirements • Master’s degree in marketing, communication, international business or related discipline. MBA in Strategic Management or related field is a plus. • Minimum 7 years of progressive experience across branding, marketing, communications, in a B2B technology business, preferably within a high-growth company and international environment. • Experience in international business development and project management is preferred. • Experience in leading branding/rebranding projects for start-ups and/or high-growth B2B tech companies. • Must possess excellent communications and interpersonal skills, with proven experience in leading and working effectively with multi-cultural and cross-functional teams. • International experience, ability to travel when required.
