Your Role:
We are looking for software quality engineers (QE) who are passionate about improving the quality of the services that government provides. You will be part of the in-house team tasked with developing and maintaining the internal system for the Government Digital Services.
What Will You Do:
- To create and maintain test cases and plans, ensuring that they are up to date with requirements and policy changes
- To create, maintain and improve the automated test framework and test environments
- To conduct testing on new features and file defects
- To perform various tests to support UATs
- To assist in resolving production cases
- To participate in all agile ceremonies
- To analyse and decompose complicated software systems and design a strategy to test these systems.
- To review Quality Assurance Plan and Test Strategy to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- To ensure all required testing documentations are in place for production preparation checks.
- To drive and advocate continuous improvement in testing practices and tools.
- To conduct research on emerging test automation technologies to optimize and accelerate the project delivery.
What Do You Need:
- Must have a Diploma or Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Infocomm, or related
- At least 3 years of professional software quality testing experience with hands-on automation or;
- At least 5 years of experience in application exploratory testing and regression test automation, application performance testing or security testing.
- ISTQB, CSQA, CSTP or other relevant certification is an added advantage
- Must have strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Strong understanding of testing techniques, risk analysis
- Experience with automation scripting (i.e. shell scripts)
- Experience with open-source automated testing frameworks (i.e. Selenium Webdriver, Robot, Appium)
- Experience with open-source performance testing tools (i.e. JMeter, Gatling, Locust) or enterprise level testing tools (HP LoadRunner, HP Mobile Center, HP UFT, HP QC, Sprinter) (CDS / NPHC / GDX GX)
- Experience with open-source penetration testing tools (ZAP, Burp Suite, SQL Map) or enterprise level penetration testing tools (HP WebInspect, Nessus, CheckMarx)
- Working experience in Agile environment will be an added advantage
