Role: Technical Manager


Salary Range: S$7,000 - S$14,000


Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 0830-1730hrs. However, you may be required to work outside of these hours in accordance with prevailing business needs.


You will be embedded with the Client, which is an MNC in the bank sector.



Background of Role;


The Technical Manager will be a key player in driving the technical direction of the projects and ensuring the successful execution of the technology initiatives. You will lead a team of skilled professionals, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the overall technical strategy of the company.



Job Duties;

  1. Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of technical professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, encouraging continuous learning and development.
  2. Project Management:Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  3. Technical Strategy:Contribute to the development and implementation of the company's technical strategy. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
  4. Resource Management:Allocate resources effectively, ensuring optimal utilization of skills within the team.
    Work closely with HR to identify staffing needs, participate in recruitment efforts, and conduct performance evaluations.
  5. Quality Assurance:Implement and enforce best practices in software development, testing, and deployment to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions. Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  6. Collaboration:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and customer support, to ensure alignment and successful delivery of integrated solutions.
  7. Risk Management:Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycle. Implement measures to enhance the security and scalability of our technical solutions.


Job Requirements;


  1. Must possess a bachelor’s degree in any field or equivalent.
  2. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  3. Strong problem-solving skills.
  4. Proven ability to work with all levels of management.
  5. Demonstrate effectiveness operating in complex organizational environments.
  6. Ability to work under pressure; ability to maintain awareness of and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted.
