Requirement
- Recognized Degree by PE board in Civil Engineering, with a minimum of 12 years experience in the Construction industry and 8 year working on LTA projects such as Road, Bridge and Viaduct Projects
- Comprehensive understanding of the contract documents (drawings and specifications), phasing plans, construction sequencing and project schedule
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- A team player with good communication skills
- Meticulous and attentive to details
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English and Mandarin
- Able to prepare reports in Chinese according to standards in China for reporting to HQ in China.
Job Description
- Assist in planning and creating schedules and project timelines.
- Overseeing and directing construction works from conception to completion
- Coordinate and direct workers and subcontractors
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
- Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
- Analyze, manage and mitigate risks
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
- Track deliverables, control subcontractors and suppliers to meet schedule, safety and quality objectives.
- Attend all meetings including consultant, technical and subcontractor.
- Planning of housekeeping by coordinating responsibilities of site engineers / site supervisors and sub-contractors.
