The Role Responsibilities Business Banking (BB) provides our SME clients with a suite of Cash Management, Lending, Trade, Treasury, Insurance and Wealth Management products and solutions to support their growth journey. This is a relationship management role covering all BB products and services. As a Portfolio Manager, you will be managing a portfolio of high-revenue mass market clients. You are expected to actively develop the accounts within your portfolio to meet and exceed set targets, including that for various campaigns that are rolled out throughout the year. You will take time to understand your clients and have a view on their needs and structure, as well as take ownership of account periodic reviews where necessary. You would ideally already have, or be prepared to quickly demonstrate, a basic understanding of BB products and solutions. You must be comfortable with calling your clients and making appropriate cross-sell that meets their business needs. This role reports directly to Head, Segment Management, Business Banking and will work closely with key stakeholders such as Product, Segment, Service and Governance, and other Sales teams to effectively meet the needs of your clients. Business You must have, or quickly demonstrate: a keen understanding of all the products available to the clients, including cash management, loans, trade, wealth management, insurance, and treasury solutions comfort in calling and speaking to both business owners and key transactors as part of your daily activities to deepen your understanding of your clients' business needs and structure an ability to identify and suggest to your clients the appropriate products and services that meet their needs willingness to work across teams and functions to deliver the best outcome for your clients. You will need to be self-driven, resourceful and take a pro-active approach towards resolving client issues Regulatory & Business Conduct Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct . Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters. Key stakeholders Product Managers, Segment Managers, Service and Governance team, Operations, CDD team and BB Sales teams Our Ideal Candidate Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Banking & Finance, Economics or comparable. 3 + years of relevant working experience in a financial institution, preferably with experience handling business clients. Strong analytical, reasoning, and presentational skills. Experience in products - cash management, loans, trade, wealth management, insurance, and treasury solutions Role Specific Technical Competencies Bachelor's Degree Familiar customer due diligence processes including FATCA and CRS adherence.
